Dear Snipe Sailors,

Today we're celebrating six years of SnipeToday. 152 authors have contributed more than 3,700 articles to "A Site for All Snipe Sailors." Thank you!

Here are the statistics for 2017:

180 regattas covered
530 articles published
more than 291,000 visitors
more than 4,000,000 page views

665 of you subscribe to our weekly SnipeToday Digest, and more than 4,000 like the ST Facebook page. You can also follow us on Twitter and Instagram.

Keeping up with news from around the Snipe world is a lot of work, but it is the best way we know to share our experiences and remind us how well Serious Sailing, Serious Fun unites us. No matter where in the world we live, we Snipe sailors can find friends and something to laugh about together, just by making our way to a regatta.

In the year ahead, we challenge you to do something new with your Snipe sailing. Race at a new venue, make your boat easier to sail with a new rigging trick, or take a new person sailing; there's plenty more to be learned and lots of fresh experiences to share. And please continue to send us your news, photos, and stories, so we can all enjoy the ways this boat and the people who sail it help us grow and connect.

We also encourage you to send us constructive criticism, on any topic—except for the limerick below—while remembering that we are volunteers. Buon Natale and Merry Christmas from your editors, and see you on the water in 2018!
