Wow … Another year, another incredible Miami Snipe Invitational Regatta. From a very informative clinic to an immensely competitive regatta, and from delicious Cuban cuisine to melt-in-your-mouth ice cream, this regatta had everything.
I’ve been a part of this spectacular event for three years now, since the very beginning. Since this regatta is designed entirely for sailors under the age of 30, it is a great way to bring new Snipers to the fleet. Young and old(er), inexperienced and experienced, and everyone in between, this event caters to all!
The racing was very competitive this year, more-so than any of the three past years. Everything about this event was amazing, and this event truly did a great job showing the new Snipers how friendly and fun Snipe sailing can be! The Race Committee was spectacular, and helped to truly round out a phenomenal regatta.
A special thank you should be given to Kathleen Tocke and the Organizing Committee for their immense dedication to this sport and to this Snipe fleet.
