SCIRA Measurement Roundtable

Introduction: SCIRA will organize a measurement Roundtable on Thursday, September 17, 2015 in Talamone, Italy. The Roundtable will begin at 9:00am. Venue: Circolo della Vela Talamone, Antonio Espada, Chief Measurer and local coordinator. Travel: Each participant is responsible for their travel costs to and from Talamone. Purpose of Clinic: The purpose of the measurement roundtable is a step beyond the traditional clinic. The roundtable is open to all the international and chief measurers of any SCIRA nation to discuss the most common problems that can occur in measuring a Snipe and to find the best solutions. This will help to clarify and standardize some of the critical points of our rules and give a shared guideline for the new class rules that are in their final version. Accommodation: Information on accommodation can be found on the 2015 World Championship website: www.snipeworlds.org Participants are responsible for their own accommodations.

Meals: a lunch break will be scheduled; participants will cover their own meal.

Registration: Measurers interested in participating in the roundtable must send their entries to Antonio Espada by September 1, 2015. (Entry Form: see attachment)
