The Board of Governors approved the new Rules Change Process (read more), which has been published on the Snipe website, SnipeToday and previously distributed to all. Implementation of this is in full swing and we are happy to announce that a section on the Snipe website is now dedicated to this process.

Please take a look at: http://snipe.org/class-mainmenu-2/proposals

Please note that March 1 is the deadline for submitting proposals for consideration. Also note that proposals can only be submitted (per the Constitution) by

  • 5 fleet captains, or
  • National Secretaries, or
  • Rules Committee, or
  • SCIRA Board members

If you navigate to the Proposals page, you will see a proposal from the Commodore to delete the Snipe Advertising Code and adopt the ISAF code.

If you would like to submit a proposal, please use the form that is on the website Proposal page, follow the directions, and return to the SCIRA office before March 1.

All proposals received will be logged on the Snipe website for viewing as well as printed in the next Snipe Bulletin (March 1 deadline).

We look forward to a productive process from our fellow Snipe members.
