Eight Bells for Renzo Gnuffi

Ledro, July 30th , 2015. Missed today Renzo Gnuffi (RENZO for all), vice president of Associazione Vela Lago di Ledro, enthusiast Snipe sailor, Italian Grand Master Champion in 2012, MOST OF ALL “a person that EVERYBODY EVERYBODY, despite his seemingly gruff character, LOVED “.
Renzo had a heart attack while he was sailing his Snipe Starlight; he was sailing with a young student of pre-competitive Ledro team. He died on helicopter.

Anyone who has been in Ledro will remember him for the great availability, attention to any detail, a word for all, especially for the kids.
Wonderful, beloved person.

Everybody in Ledro is incredulous.

Due frasi da noi ragazzi dell avll

Il nostro vicepresidente, ma per noi un nonno, un padre ed un amico. Ci hai lasciati timonando la tua Starlight sulle acque del tuo amato lago, e noi continueremo a farlo per te. Hai contribuito a rendere il circolo vela la grande famiglia che è oggi; il tuo costante sorriso, il ghiaino, lo sfalcio dell’Erba, il vino, il rospo….sono troppe le cose da scrivere, ma noi ce le ricorderemo tutte.

Our vice president, but for us a grandfather, a father and a friend. You left us steering your Starlight on the waters of your favorite lake, and we will continue to do the same for you.

You have helped to make the Ledro Sailing Club the great family that today it is. Your constant smile, the gravel, the mowing of the grass, the wine …. there are too many things to write, but we will remember all.
