ISAF International Measurers Workshop

Recently 2 of our Snipe sailors passed the International Measurer’s exam. Eric Reinke (USA) and Dina Kowalyshyn (USA) should both be approved at the upcoming Nov. ISAF Conference as IM’s. Eric is applying under the Snipe Class as he has overseen the Pan Am measurement as well as worked at the 2009 Snipe Worlds and various other National events. Currently Eric will be the only IM approved for Snipes. Dina has not worked at a major Snipe event recently, but sits on the Equipment Committee as vice chairman for ISAF.

Dina will be attending the IM Workshop in Ireland (agenda below) just prior to the ISAF meeting and will be one of the presenters, and will use some of the Snipe rules for examples.

This is a big step for SCIRA and also a commitment from these 2 for sitting & passing the IM test with ISAF.
