Video – Race 3

The 2015 Snipe World Championship, hosted by the Circolo della Vela Talamone continued today, with 3 races. Building on their win for the only race on the first day, Nicholas Pellicano Grael & Fabio Kohler (BRA) got the bullet for the first race of today. However, their day did not go as planned, as they placed 11th and 12th in the remaining two races today. Currently Grael/Kohler sit in fourth overall, two points behind third.

In the second race of the day, Antonio Lopez Montoya and Gregorio Belmonte Cuenca of Spain won, securing their place as overall leader after today. The team of Kenta Nakagawa and Yoshinori Oka from Japan had a consistent day with finishes of 8th, 2nd, and 6th to end the day in second overall with 21 points. Close behind with 23 points after today, Felipe Rondina and Luis Filipe Boani finished the day with a first, landing the team from Brazil in third overall.

Thirty one teams are competing for the title. The juniors are racing through September 18 with the open title to be held September 21-26.
