2. ARG Luis Soubie & Diego Lipszyc, 16

3. BRA Ralph Rosa & Alfredo Rovere, 17

4. USA Doug Hart & Christina Persson, 26

5. JPN Motoharu Nishii & Eisuke Nord, 36

Report by Carol Cronin

Two races today in very challenging conditions. Northwest breeze came right down Montagu Bay, but it varied in speed from 10-18 knots and from 300-010 degrees. Those who got off the line in a position of the next shift were quickly launched, leaving the rest of us with few options for a clean lane. After that it was a matter of staying in the pressure, which filled in from side to side with no predictable pattern

Ernesto Rodriguez/Kathleen Tocke won the day with a 2-1 and are leading. Ralph Rosa/Alfredo Rovere (BRA) also sailed well, but they are still one point behind Luis Soubie/Diego Lipszyc (ARG) who are second overall. We have two more races tomorrow so anything could happen, especially if the predicted light air finally comes through.

Tonight is a casual regatta dinner at RNSC.
