South Europe Summer Circuit 2014
The Summer Circuit D.o.G. has been approved by the Board of Governors and has been updated on the SCIRA website.
Caldonazzo and Riccione will host the 2014 Summer Circuit.

Dear Mr. Jose C. Alegra, The South Europe Summer Circuit Deed of Gift (also known as "Summer Circuit") was approved by the Board of Governors in 2009. Sometimes one leg of the Summer Circuit is also valid as South European Championship "Sergio Michel Perpetual Trophy", I think the first two words (South Europe) was added for distinguishing it from the other Summer Circuit sailed in New England. South Europe is the geographical area where the regattas are sailed. Also, please note that the famous Winter Circuit (Midwinters+Don Q+Bacardi/Gamblin/Kelly) is called "Snipe South Easrtern Winter Circuit" (Zimmerman Trophy), because it is sailed in Florida and Bahamas. Anyway if you think the name is not appropriate you can submit your request to SCIRA Italy ([email protected]), owner of the Trophy. Best regards, Pietro Fantoni
