Crosby Series Races 1 & 2

1. Raul Rios & Mac Agnese, 1-1

2. Augie Diaz & Kathleen Tocke, 2-3

The locals were right; the 7-11 knot easterly that filled just after breakfast faded to about 6 knots by our 11am start. But we did manage to fit in two races before it died completely.

Those who stayed in the increasingly spotty pressure were rewarded, and Raul Rios/Mac Agnese continued the streak they’d started with the Junior Nationals by winning both races. Augie Diaz/Kathleen Tocke were also consistent with a 2,3.

Everyone else had at least one finish out of the top five, so 3rd through 11th is currently separated by only five points. And with a cold front due to cross through tomorrow, the second day could mix up the scores quite a bit.
