D4 Championship

St. Petersburg, May 18-19, 2013. Report and photos by Steve Lang The District 4 (Southeastern) US Championships were first held in 1957. This year, the regatta was in St. Petersburg, Florida. Saturday saw light and tricky racing with a sea breeze in the afternoon. On Sunday, races were cancelled with no wind. Kevin and Ashley Reali won. There were a number of new sailors and juniors participating along with the veterans. The fleet was competitive and tightly packed on almost every leg. A good time was had by all!
