Two days of great summer weather on Lake Garda welcomed Snipes’ return to racing in Brenzone after many years.

The prize was the title of National Master with 24 teams on the starting line, certainly a good number, with some teams who came back to the race course after being away for a long time.

Under the direction of the great Renato Bruni, everything went wonderfully, both on land and on water.

The race course, in front of Castelletto di Brenzone in the medium-high Garda, offered ideal conditions for racing for the Snipe. The fleet completed four races, long and perfectly regular, with air from the south around 10 knots.

italianimasterbrenzoneFabio Rochelli and Daniela Semec, elusive and consistent Semec, dominated all the races with huge advantages over their rivals, winning both the overall and the title of Italian Master Junior.

Diego Baroldi and Chiara Arlati finished on the second step of the podium, regular and fast in a race course that Diego knows very well and you can tell that he has “played at home.”

In third place were Giuseppe Propseri and Silvia Bartoletti, who sailed together for the first time, improving their team work during the regatta.

The team of Rodati-Stahl, who was absent for a few years but proved to be in tune, winning fourth place in the standings.

Fifth overall and first Grand Master was Renato Bruni with his son Dario as tactician/crew, who easily won the challenge with his old rival Giuliano Dematté, second Grand Master.
Team Bruni will represent Italy at the Worlds in Rio de Janeiro, with the dream to sail together the Master Worlds in Hiroshima in 2014!

To complete the ranking of the Masters, in the Senior category, Alberto de Paoli and Anna Mosca, eightth in the overall standings, took the title.
