Indianapolis Sailing Club – Geist Reservoir
Over the last weekend of June the Indianapolis Sailing Club Snipe Fleet 409 held their annual Indiana Open. The regatta had a nice turnout with 16 boats on the line comprised of sailors from three states (Michigan, Indiana & Ohio).
5 races were completed, three on Saturday and two on Sunday. Saturday proved to be very difficult sailing conditions with very minimal winds and air temperatures into the 90s. The cold beer temperatures though prevailed and all had a great weekend at beautiful Geist Reservoir.
Congratulations to the top three finishers: 1st Place Michael Stark (28214) , 2nd Place Bob Rowland (26747), 3rd Place John Crookston (25863).
